OUR PASTOR WAS MISLED (ICGC) LEADERSHIP

Sellout Magazine
12-8-18

The leadership and membership of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) has pledged its total support and loyalty to their founder Dr Mensa Otabil, who has been widely discussed in the media in the past week as far as events that led to the collapse of Capital Bank, which he chaired, is concerned.“Throughout this period, you have demonstrated integrity at its highest level before us. Many of us have built our Christian character around the values you continue to exhibit.

The transparency with which you have led this church continues to motivate us to do same when it comes to matters of integrity. At a time like this, we affirm our loyalty to you and celebrate you as the embodiment of Christian character”, the ICGC leadership said in a statement.Meanwhile founding President of think tank IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has said, “I am tempted to believe that Pastor Otabil was misled by his CEO,” in relation to the bank’s misapplication of GHS610 million liquidity support given to it bank by the central bank.Instead of using the money to restore Capital Bank to its knees, the management, with the approval of the International Central Gospel Church founder, diverted the money for other uses, leading to the eventual collapse of the local bank in August 2017.The monies were moved by a member of the Board, Ato Essien into companies believed to be owned by him and others, on the Board.

Some of that money was reportedly presented as capital to secure a licence for another now-defunct bank, Sovereign Bank.Among the flagged transactions were GHS 27.5 million used for business promotion which was handled by a board member; transfers to IFS amounting to GHS 23.9 million; transfers to Nordea Capital amounting to GHS 65 million, and transfers to Alltime Capital amounting to GHS 130 million.Commenting on the development, Mr Cudjoe said: “It does seem Pastor [Otabil] didn’t quite possess the financial ‘spirit’ and eye to detect that the financial engineering his CEO engaged in was beyond normal limits of risk.In Mr Cudjoe’s view, “There is no evidence that the board-chair pastor actively colluded with his CEO to embezzle GHS 610m, so, we cannot accuse him of wrongdoing”.He emphasized, however, that: “…As board chairman he [Pastor Otabil] must now take ultimate responsibility and ensure that we redeem the GHS 610m by not only selling assets of his CEO and others but also some of his own, to make up” to the loss.

This is not the best time to be a minister of state in Ghana. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is about to name the men and women who will make it to the second half of his four-year mandate. Uneasiness among the ministers of state is heightened. Stomachs are churning. Hearts are pounding. And some faces are contorted in distaste. The list is yet to be officially made public. But sources in government say the list is almost complete. And with the firing of Boakye Agyarko from the Energy Ministry, it appears there is nobody who is indispensable in Nana Akufo-Addo’s government. Some will not make it the second half of Nana’s presidency, according to sources. Almighty Alan Kyeremanteng is been moved to health Ministry. The Minister of Gender and Social Protection, Otiko Afisa Djaba, according to sources will be dropped. The Minister for Aviation, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, is said to be moving to the Ministry of Sanitation. It is not clear where the current Sanitation Minister, Joseph Kofi Addah, will go.The Information Minister, Dr. Abdul Mustapha-Hamid, will head for the Ministry of Zongo and Inner City Development. The fate of the current occupant of that ministry, Boniface Abubakar Sadique, is yet to be announced.Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, one of the three deputy ministers of information, is likely to be named as the substantive minister for information following the movement of Dr. Mustapha-Hamid.Highly placed sources in government say the health ministry is likely to be affected. For those who have criticised the number of ministers and hoped President Akufo-Addo would use this reshuffle to prune the number, they will be disappointed. Some sources have told Manasseh Azure Awuni that the number of ministers will not be reduced. Number will remain 110.The sources further said the reshuffle will not be wide spread.

Sellout Magazine
8-8-18
After dashing out brand new cars to some hardworking Church members, Rev Obofuor revealed the secret behind his success and how he makes money to buy all the expensive Cars and Houses.

The Kumasi based Pastor says he owns over 14 companies and added that he was a businessman before God Called him to do His work.“I have over 14 to 15 serious Companies, I’m not joking, I don’t make my money from Church.”- Rev Obofuor said this after giving a brand new car to Anti Bee of Efiewura Fame.

Background

Bishop Obinim during a recent church service ”surprisingly” advised People especially Pastors who show off their new cars and added that he is in no competition with no one. After watching the Video you will notice that Bishop Obinim Subliminally shaded Rev Obofour with his words.

According to Bishop Obinim, Dr Kwame Osei Despite, Nana Appiah Mensah CEO of Zylofon Media are the people to show off their Cars because they are SUPER Rich.

“Nana Appiah Mensah and Despite will laugh at you when they see you brag about a Car they can easily buy and in fact 10 of them ” – Obinim

But it looks like there is a fierce competitor gunning for Obinim's unofficial title of being the most controversial pastor in Ghana in recent memory. That person is no other than, Reverend Obofour (Asanteman Bofour) whose behaviour lately brings up controversies Obinim himself would envy.

In May, Reverend Obofour was widely reported to have claimed that he was the only 'true' archangel of God in Ghana and that is whats causing all the friction i guess.

He also gave analysis of how to be prosperous as a Pastor. It is always the best to give back to those who u suffered with and mnot to be pomperous over them.

Kumawood Is Just Having A Hard Time, It’s Not Dying – Actress Cecilia Konamah

Self-confessed former lezbian, Kumawood actress Cecilia Konamah has added her voice to the statements that the Kumawood Movie Industry made up mostly of Akan speaking actors and actresses is dying if not dead.About a year ago before the influx of Indian telenovelas on Ghanaian TV screens, Kumawood movies were the most vibrant movie industry in Ghana.

In fact, the so-called glamorous Ghallywood actors and actresses were switching to Kumawood to maintain their career.

But the industry has taken a nose dive. The president of Ashanti Region actors guild, Bill Asamoah in an interview revealed that the industry died because they were ignorant and did not match up with changing technology. They assumed things will always be as it was.

But speaking on the issue of the industry, Cecilia Konamah who is now married and claims she has stopped all the lezbian activities said the industry is not dead and neither is it dying.

According to her, every business once in a while becomes stagnant but it can’t be said the business is dead and that is the issue with Kumaood right now.

“Indian movies were on top some years back but the fact that they’re not vibrant in time but that does not suggest Bollywood is dead,” Kumawood’s Cecilia Konamah firmly stated in an interview.

The actress even added that for some weeks now, there has been a substantial increase in the purchase of Kumawood movies so things are starting to looking bright.
